Security issues aside, I don't think it's elegant to do x402 with authorization:
Originally, x402 was designed to be gas-free (via ERC3009), but the user authorized the transaction required gas.
If you don't over-authorize and let users authorize once per transaction, that is, each transaction requires gas 😂
Safety Perspective:
It's true that over-authorization isn't safe, but even x402 on base can steal u with your signature (e.g. ask you to sign to transfer all you to the merchant). So a trustless frontend is important, and currently x402scan is doing this.

It's a very sincere question. I see projects on BSC using excessive authorization of USD1 to do x402, which feels a bit unsafe. @0xAA_Science @0x0funky @b402ai @soraoracle
I'm just afraid that some project teams will use the x402 protocol to max out users' USD1, or that hackers will upgrade other project contracts or do something else, transferring all authorized USD1 without the project's consent.
