🧪 The future of science is decentralized. We’ve officially submitted our application for Pump Spotlight From on-chain funding to tokenized discoveries, Dear DAO is redefining how innovation is created and shared by bridging AI, crypto, and real-world research through $DEAR. ✨ Science meets meme culture. 🔬 Powered by 🧑‍🏫 Collaborating with Dr. Hyun-Tak Kim, an expert in superconductors. 🪼 Partnership @jellyvideochats The details about 'Spotlight' will continue in the thread. @pumpspotlight @Pumpfun @a1lon9
1) How does the project integrate crypto? Dear DAO is a DeSci (decentralized science) and AI–driven initiative that incorporates blockchain infrastructure into research collaboration. Through on-chain governance, token- based research funding, and tokenized research outputs/IP (NFT/RWA), we aim to build a transparent, self-governing research ecosystem. The $DEAR token underpins core activities such as proposal funding, DAO voting, reproducibility rewards, and NFT issuance. By directly linking scientific outcomes to token utility, Dear DAO proposes a new standard where economic value and scientific progress reinforce one another. We also address a long-standing issue in crypto: the difficulty of extending from Web3 into Web2. Why most crypto projects struggle to reach Web2 users • Products are optimized exclusively for Web3. • Typical actions are limited to “token swaps” and “NFT minting.” ◦ Without a wallet, even those are out of reach → poor Web2 user onboarding ◦ dApps circulate value only within Web3 Result: Finance (DeFi, RWA) has found real demand in Web2; non-financial verticals (gaming, social, science) largely remain siloed in Web3. Dear DAO’s approach: break through with science-based Web2 commercialization (ICM) so Web3-originated research can ship as Web2 products.
2) What problems does it solve? Dear DAO tackles centralized funding, opacity, and inefficiency in the research ecosystem, as well as the weak bridge between Web3 and Web2. Today, funding is concentrated in a handful of institutions, data is locked behind closed publications, and high-risk, high-reward work is often overlooked. Our improvements • Transparent allocation: community-driven decisions and milestone-based disbursements via the DAO • Reproducibility: on-chain records to improve accessibility and verifiability of data • Web2 go-to-market: support practical science projects all the way to product launch Dear DAO supports superconductivity researchers, among others, and is collaborating with Dr. Hyun-Tak Kim, a globally recognized expert in quantum materials and superconductivity. Together we are preparing reproducibility experiments for “Grokene,” a candidate superconductor identified with the help of GROK AI—an example of fusing decentralized research with real-world science. DRH (Archive) — how the funding & archive layer operates Step 1 – Open Submission (4 days, twice monthly) Open to researchers and students for ideas, lab notes, draft papers, and more. Step 2 – Scientific Validation (3 days) An internal Dear DAO scientist group conducts an initial truth/feasibility check. Step 3 – Secondary Funding (Quadratic Funding, 7 days) • Community-led funding round • Projects with more small backers receive larger matching bonuses • Launchpad-style: when a project later issues its token, allocations reflect the contribution amount Step 4 – DAO Funding & Research Execution • Projects approved by DAO vote enter the second funding stage • Dear DAO-affiliated scientists collaborate with teams; funds and research support flow on- chain Step 5 – Tokenization & Licensing • When outcomes emerge and products look viable, results are tokenized (NFT/RWA) • Verified work is submitted to journals; once peer-reviewed and formally published, the Premium Layer distributes paid versions • Research can be licensed to companies and taken to market • External revenues can be linked to $DEAR buybacks per policy Step 6 – Web2 Product Launch • Few crypto projects truly bridge Web3↔Web2; we implement ICM so science originating in Web3 can ship as Web2 products How we differ from typical DeSci launchpads (e.g., BIO PROTOCOL) • Traditional issues: ◦ Investors alone select projects → misaligned with DAO principles ◦ Immediate token issuance post-raise → risk of early team exit and stalled development ◦ No results → token value erosion; no flywheel • Dear DAO’s fixes:◦ ◦ Community-based selection Gradual, milestone-tied disbursement under DAO governance ◦ Teams receive funds only on milestone completion ◦ Tokens issued only after verified results ◦ Prediction-market layer to drive engagement and real DAO utility Key mechanisms in more detail Archive Layer — Core features • Open access for $DEAR holders (view and download) • Joint participation from the DAO, VCs, and scientist communities in discussion, review, and funding proposals Quadratic Funding (QF) • Projects with broader individual participation rank higher ◦ Example: ▪ Project A: 1 person × $100 = $100 ▪ Project B: 10 people × $10 = $100 ▪ Project B wins (broader community support) • “Community backing becomes scientific leverage.” Milestone Funding • Researchers specify milestones in their proposals • The DAO releases funds automatically upon verification of each milestone ◦ Example: ▪ Milestone 1 — Data collection: 2,000 USDC ▪ Milestone 2 — Model development: 3,000 USDC ▪ Milestone 3 — Results release: 5,000 USDC ▪ → Auto-payout on success; if a milestone fails, further funding stops immediately Performance-based Streaming (Streamflow on Solana) • On-chain streaming automates treasury flows• If a project fails, remaining funds halt instantly • Real-time tracking of all research disbursements • Strengthens transparency and accountability
3) Does the project generate revenue? If so, how much? Dear DAO is designed with sustainable, diversified revenue streams: • Distribution of peer-reviewed outputs (Premium Layer) • Tokenization of research outputs (NFT/RWA) • Commercialization & licensing (B2B agreements) • Web2 product sales (ICM) • Prediction-market fees Peer-reviewed distribution (Premium Layer) All papers are published openly in base form. DAO-verified or peer-reviewed final PDFs are distributed in the Premium Layer. • DAO Premium Access: staking benefits for $DEAR stakers • Institutional subscriptions: university and lab licenses • NFT ownership editions: on-chain ownership and secondary distribution • A hybrid open-access model: free base + paid validated versions + transparent revenue sharing Tokenizing research outputs (NFT/RWA) • NFT: ownership/copyright proof for papers, code, and datasets • RWA: revenue/equity/royalty rights for patents, licenses, and commercialization proceeds • Effect: integrity and trust for research; automatic revenue sharing between DAO and researchers Commercialization & licensing (B2B) • Traditional model (e.g., MIT, Stanford, KAIST): patents/papers licensed or transferred to companies, with royalties shared by researchers and institutions • Dear DAO model: 1. DAO-verified research → registered as NFT/RWA2. Enterprises sign for access and licenses 3. Revenues flow to the DAO treasury 4. Streamflow automates distribution between DAO and researchers Token-based revenue dynamics • $DEAR is used for staking, funding, and transactions • Funding via $DEAR increases token utility and demand • Premium access via staking invites Web2 users (token purchases) and helps reduce sell pressure • External revenues (licenses, fees, reports) may be routed to token buybacks per policy We are community-led at an early stage. From 2026, we expect meaningful revenues as NFT-based scientific commercialization scales. Actual results will depend on market conditions, partnerships, and research outcomes.
4) Have you raised capital? Dear DAO is a community-led token project, not a VC-led venture. We launched $DEAR on in October 2025 and are growing on a fully decentralized model. Strategic partnerships with Jelly Jelly and HAIO support global expansion and strengthen both technical and cultural ecosystems. Growth is driven by community participation and trust, not by external equity capital.
5) What have you built so far? • Successful token launch on and rapid community growth • A well-received DeSci Party in Korea • Ongoing development of the DRH archive model
6) Are you planning to issue a token in the next three months? Our token already launched in October 2025; we are now in our rst month of operations. The community is expanding quickly, and we are actively experimenting with AI integration, NFT- based verication, and broader DAO governance. Dear DAO is evolving into a next-generation DeSci ecosystem at the intersection of science, AI, and crypto.
7) What support do you want from ? We view not only as a launchpad but as a long-term ecosystem partner. Our goal is to establish Dear DAO as a flagship DeSci project within the ecosystem—showcasing how meme culture and scientific innovation can coexist. Priority areas for support • Liquidity support to encourage broad participation • Greater exposure and brand visibility • Strategic promotions and collaborations (featured lists, cross-promotions) • Joint programs (AMAs, meme challenges, educational events) • Technical collaboration — integrating infrastructure with Dear DAO’s AI/DeSci systems Dear DAO is more than a token; it represents the convergence of memes, science, and AI. With we aim to scale this vision globally and demonstrate that meaningful innovation can thrive even within meme-driven markets. Thank you.
