The @BioProtocol team has just announced a series of important updates that the community needs to be aware of:
🔹 1️⃣ Temporary suspension of Yapping XP rewards
After this week's distribution, Yapping XP rewards will be temporarily suspended to upgrade the system. The goal is to enhance bot resistance, limit spam, and ensure that rewards go to the right users who are genuinely contributing.
🔹 2️⃣ Activation of XP expiration mechanism after 14 days
XP points will now have a 14-day validity period from the time they are received. This encourages everyone to participate regularly, avoiding unlimited accumulation and helping the system better reflect the actual contributions of each member.
🔹 3️⃣ Update to a more transparent staking formula
BIO stakers will be prioritized with a higher multiplier compared to other asset types. The new formula will be clearly and transparently announced so that the community can easily track and calculate rewards.
🚀 Implementation & Next Steps
These changes will be gradually applied over the next few weeks. Immediately after the suspension of Yapping, the team will launch new Ignition Sales next week, opening up more opportunities for the community to participate early in potential DeSci projects.
