fantastic work by dar, eric, bernt and team in getting humanoid robots ready to install in people's homes. i've had the great pleasure to be able to peek in to dar's studio every once in a while and the degree of care, detail, and vision in crafting the experience here is incredible.
in order for ai to deliver on its promise we need to build physical, embodied systems to further automate the economy, and the 1X vision of scaling real-world data collection in homes makes great sense to me. the path from first delivering value via teleoperation as you scale to full autonomy is clear.
