I can't quite recall what those projects were about, but I think they were related to research in Paris, haha. Here's the overall flow: End of 2024: DeSci sector market cap ~$150M, about 25 projects Peak in January 2025: total market cap surges to ~$1B Current as of September 2025: ~$850M, stabilizing with about 85 projects However, these days, interest in DeSci is rising again as BIO is gaining traction. It might have been there before, but it didn't catch my eye. BIO also seems to be a project that was around during the DeSci boom at the end of last year. On November 8, 2024: Binance Labs announced its first DeSci investment. Lately, it seems like there are many projects emerging in the BIO space, so it might be good to expect another DeSci boom.
