10sSOON Round 3 has been our most participated event to date — over 100,000 transactions in the first hour, placing SOON at #1 on x402scan by number of buyers.
While the enthusiasm was incredible, the surge in transactions also exposed the limits of the current facilitator layer, resulting in instability and failed mints for some participants. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this experiment.
This experience reaffirmed our commitment to the long-term development of the x402 protocol. The SOON team is now building our own high-performance facilitator to support the scale and speed our community brings — and to help strengthen the broader x402 ecosystem for the future.

This round saw the highest participation to date, with over 100,000 transactions processed within the first hour.
However, the surge in activity placed unexpected strain on the facilitators, resulting in temporary instability and a number of unsuccessful mints for some users.
Those who predicted successfully but failed to pay the USDC will have the chance to claim the $10s they won later by paying the amount missed.
The 10sSOON experiment has proven that x402 still has a long way to go, and SOON will be actively contributing in building the better payment infrastructure for human & agents.
