1️⃣ Non-Custodial by Design
When you deposit your veAERO or veVELO, it moves into a non-custodial contract that only you can control.
Example: if you hold 10,000 veAERO, only your wallet can deposit or withdraw that NFT.
Autopilot can’t move, transfer, or access it – we only automate what you’d do manually.
2️⃣ Immutable Core
Autopilot’s core contracts are immutable, meaning they can’t be changed or upgraded after deployment.
Example: interacting with the PermanentLocksPool (where the veNFT located) today uses the same verified logic as everyone else – forever.
No admin keys, no hidden updates, no rug switches.
3️⃣ Multisig Security
All critical operations, deployments, audits and integrations required an approval from a multisig with multiple signers.
Example: every new strategy or integration must be signed off by several trusted keys to prevent unilateral actions.
4️⃣ Limited Permissions
Autopilot’s contracts have strict limits.
We can only:
✅ Vote on gauges across 150–200+ pools
✅ Claim and auto-swap rewards into USDC
Example: when rewards are claimed each epoch, that’s the only action triggered – deposits and withdrawals remain under your full control.
5️⃣ Transparency and Verification
Every interaction, deposit, withdraw and claim is recorded on-chain.
Example: if you joined Epoch 114, you can see your deposit, reward claims, and USDC distributions directly on Base or Optimism explorers.
All audits and addresses are public – no hidden logic, no private APIs.
