@LayerZero_Core is a messaging protocol that enables applications to communicate across chains. It's processed nearly 157 million crosschain messages to date. It also recently acquired @StargateFinance, a bridge that relies on LayerZero to execute crosschain swaps.
Espresso and LayerZero are both fighting fragmentation, but, contrary to what some assume, are not competitors. LayerZero builds the messaging layer for apps to communicate; Espresso provides fast, secure transaction confirmations that strengthen the security those messages are based on.
